JUDITH O'DEA odeacommunications.com |
CHARACTER: The legendary horror star tackles the role of "Mrs. Hamilton," a woman who tries to avoid the truth when faced with a mother's nightmare... Discovering, and accepting, that her child is gay. Her homophobia results from a painful past experience she has kept hidden in her own closet, and now that her son Elliot has started to emerge from his, she does everything in her power to keep both doors locked. BIOGRAPHY: Few can say they've had the privilege of working with the star of a film universally referred to as a classic. We are honored to have been given that opportunity in working with Judith O'Dea, who portrayed "Barbara" in the original NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD (1968). Ms. O'Dea's career has spanned nearly 40 years, most of her work as an actress on stage in musicals and other plays. She has been working on two dramatic screenplays of her own, has produced an audiocassette series of her own short stories titled "Ah, Women!," and is also the founder of O'Dea Communications, which specializes in the art of helping people organize and deliver powerful, persuasive presentations for on-camera, business or informal situations. She has also appeared in the films THE PIRATES (1977), SERIAL SLAYER (2004), SOMETHING TO SCREAM ABOUT (2004), and can next be seen in THE OCEAN (2005). |

SEAN MICHAEL LAMBRECHT www.seanmichaellambrecht.com |
CHARACTER: As "Corin Buckman," Lambrecht is the glue that holds the pieces together. He is a young, attractive gay man comfortable in his sexuality, but emotionally distraught at the idea of having just turned 30 ("Hagdom in gay years..."). He fears his much younger lover, Jake, who's eyes are wandering towards others his own age, will leave him as their personal lives and interests seem to be dividing. A giving person, Corin is also unaware that his trying to subtlety aid his new assistant, Elliot, in coming out of the closet has led to an unwanted, and dangerous, crush.
BIOGRAPHY: Though playing 30, Sean Michael Lambrecht was actually 27 when he filmed OCTOBER MOON. Never intending to be an actor, he was "tricked" into an audition by the director and offered the lead role the same day. He is a musician and occasional model who simply prefers to be known as a "Disgruntled Voter." |

JEFF DYLAN GRAHAM www.jeffdgraham.com |
CHARACTER: Horror vet Graham continues to build upon his "chameleon" acting-reputation as "Jake," a handsome young man who has recently "come into his own" as a gay man, causing his eyes to wander away from his partner of over 5 years. His desire to be a free spirit conflicts with his love for Corin, the only boyfriend he's ever had. It isn't until he discovers Elliot's crush on Corin that Jake suddenly realizes "everything he has taken for granted could be gone in a second."
BIOGRAPHY: A star and character actor in over 25 feature films, Jeff Dylan Graham began his career in the hit movie SELENA (1997). He went on to roles in THE FACULTY (1998) (which were unfortunately cut from the film) and in indie flicks like MALEFIC (2000), CREMAINS (2001), and HELLGATE: THE HOUSE THAT SCREAMED 2 (2001). His breakthrough role was in the Full Moon Production DEAD & ROTTING (2002). One of the current, and few, B-Movie industry's leading "Scream Kings," he has since gone on to portray a wide array of characters in horror pix like DEADLY STINGERS (2003), ZOMBIEGEDDON (2003), A POUND OF FLESH (2004) and the upcoming HOME SICK (2005). He has also tackled comedic roles in the BAD MOVIE POLICE series. |

JEROD HOWARD www.jerodhoward.com |
CHARACTER: Psycho had Anthony Perkins, The Silence of the Lambs had Anthony Hopkins, and though we don't have an "Anthony" in OCTOBER MOON, we do have a stand out for one of the creepiest, realistic villains in Jerod Howard. As "Elliot," Howard takes his time to devilishly transform from a meek, nerdy wallflower into a demented, sexually-confused young man who must not only deal with what his family considers betrayal and disgust, but also his own growing obsession for another man who doesn't return his affections. BIOGRAPHY: Jerod Howard has been acting on stage, screen and television for over 15 years. He debuted in Chicago, IL as "Lance" in the stage presentation of the cult-hit film Pulp Fiction for Azusa Productions, under the direction of Maggie Speer. Other stage roles include an award-winning performance as "Billy Bibbit" in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and "Milo Tindle" in the two-man whodunit Sleuth for PM & L Theater. Though his role in OCTOBER MOON is his first lead performance in a film, his resume does include appearances in other films such as MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING (1997), HOME ALONE 3 (1997), and SAVE THE LAST DANCE (2001). Likewise, he has also worked on the syndicated television series EARLY EDITION and CUPID. Born and raised in The Windy City, Jerod Howard currently resides north of Chicago and for the last five years has appeared regularly with the Bowen Park Theater Company in Waukegan, IL. His additional theater credits include Romeo and Juliet, Twelfth Night, and The Glass Menagerie. Jerod also appeared as "Froggy Lesuer" in the company's production of The Foreigner, under the direction of Circle Theater veteran Todd Cornils. |

TINA ONA PAUKSTELIS |
CHARACTER: Dramatic roles have always been a strong point for horror vet Paukstelis. Here she plays "Marti," a devoted and loving finacee who slowly realizes Elliot, her husband-to-be, is hiding a secret in his closet. As her bland but comfortablle life begins to crumble, she must struggle with both self-image and acceptance not only of Elliot's true desires, but that the once timid man is now showing signs of a dangerous psyche. BIOGRAPHY: A veteran of both stage and film for nearly 15 years, Tina Ona Paukstelis made her scream-debut as the heroine of the cult vampire flick ASWANG: THE UNEARTHING (1994). She has tackled dramatic roles in a number of other indie films, including several with Collum such as the 5 DARK SOULS trilogy and JULIA WEPT (2000). She continues to appear on stage in a variety of venues throughout the Southeastern Wisconsin area, and has recently added "director" to her resume. |

DARCEY VANDERHOEF |
CHARACTER: Vanderhoef brings a cool bitchiness to her role as "Maggie," Jake's fun-loving but very protective best friend. When she senses Elliot has intentions of coming between Jake and Corin, she takes it upon herself to steer both Elliot and Jake in the right directions in regards to their relationships with their significant others.
BIOGRAPHY: A part-time actress and occasional model, Vanderhoef is actually a full-time grade school teacher in Las Vegas, NV. When not controlling and trying to teach values to other people's children, she dabbles in the entertainment industry, with a mixture of lead and supporting roles in movies like MARK OF THE DEVIL 666 (1995), the 5 DARK SOULS trilogy (1996, 98, 2003), THE FRIGHTENING (2002), BAD MOVIE POLICE, CASE #1: GALAXY OF THE DINOSAURS (2003), and DEADLY STINGERS (2003). |
||||
ASHLEY J. ANDERSON |
CHARACTER: Though only on screen for a few minutes, Anderson's role as "Farmer Red" accompanies one of the film's most suspenseful sequences as he unknowingly becomes the last possible chance for Corin's escape from the terror of Elliot's deranged agenda. He's also very nice eye-candy for the gay fellas and straight girls in the audience....
BIOGRAPHY: Did we use him for his body? Shamelessly. Ashley J. Anderson, and avid health buff who currently hales from the land of Packers central, Greenbay, Wisconsin, makes his screen debut in OCTOBER MOON. Want to see more of him? Let us know... |
